ACAF Professional Development Workshops

The ACAF professional development workshops are all scheduled for Saturday 20 February 2016. Entry to each workshop requires a modest fee to help cover costs associated with bringing you quality presenters, venue and logistics.

Breaking StoryA look into the ways you can set about breaking a story for comics – from that kernel of an idea to a full narrative, from using page layouts, to plotting character arcs.
Small Comics & ZinesThey may be little, but what can be found inside is big and wonderful! There is a lot of freedom with making your own small comics and zines by hand. They can be very personal, expressive and just plain fun.

Publishers big and small have taken to publishing them, but how do you approach them with your project?
